Not quite BSD, sorry, but you lot have a wealth of knowledge on small system boards, I hope someone can help. I've been asked to spec out a system... there are political and religious reasons why it cannot use a PC based systems, but need some sort of embedded board that can be programmed up to do a single task. So any recommendations for : very low spec processor, e.g. 6502/Z80 class !! (software will go on eprom) single line lcd display, integrated keyboard or standard keyboard port printer port, floppy disc or other removable low-capacity storage. with printer, the whole thing will end up something like an electronic typewriter, customised to do a specific task. (ie, prompt user for information via display, then print a form out, incorporating this information.) This needs to be something that can be bought new now, with a dependable supply. (ie, I can't dig out my old BBC micros and sell them those!) Thanks for any help, Rob, -- APH Computers Ltd.
