I would love a posting of whats new on the diary. I don;t get there often
enough.

It's good that other people are referring people to the Diary.  I consider
that a compliement.  And point taken.  The difference between the
existing references and my single post would be that my message
would include which new articles had been added in the past week.  I
hope that a separate message, appropriately titled, might prompt people
to read the message.  As opposed to deleting a thread because it's
titled "I can't get my cd-rom to work".

I'ts my turn to rephrase.  I am subscribed to the list *now*.  I had been
absent for some months because of other commitments.
