In my case, keyboard on a laptop computer is broken so that I had to connect usb keyboard to use it. GELI password is prompted before USB keyboard is activated by the kernel. This problem happend one of my laptop computer while using USB-HDD and USB-Keyboard. However, when I attempted to reproduce the same error on another laptop with internal-HDD and USB-Keyboard, this problem didn't happen.
