It should be done in several hours. When I'm next awake after it has finis= hed, I'll start the buildkernel. However, I will need to wait for a good time f= or installing and rebooting, etc. In light of Alexey's comment I would rather= not take the system down until it really needs it, however. (Setting vm.pageout_oom_seq=3D1024000 seems to have postponed the anticipated need to reboot the other night by eventually scrounging up enough page frames for t= he free list to let it keep going. pagedaemon now has a total CPU time of 6.5= to 7 hours on it.) Anyway, I want to thank Alexey for taking the time to conf= irm that Radeon support is buggy on more than just my system. AFAIK, he did th= at of his own initiative. And I do notice that he asked Niclas the same quest= ions that I did. I am still hoping to see answers to them because they may determine whether there is yet sufficient reason to go through the hassle of moving to stable/12. Without them there certainly is not. --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. You are on the CC list for the bug.=
