Hello... I have been trying to get my comp set up for FTP and telnet, however, after dialing in I am always getting no response or some error like: ftp: ftp.something.com: host look up failed (something along those lines) and whenever I run nslookup, this is my output: #nslookup ***Cant find server name fore address 207.217.126.81: No response from server ***Cant find server name fore address 207.217.77.82: No response from server ***Cant find server name fore address 207.217.120.83: No response from server ***Default servers not available my resolv.conf looks like this: domain earthlink.net nameserver 207.217.126.81 (DNS) nameserver 207.217.77.82 nameserver 207.217.120.83 There has to be something simple Im missing (thats how it usually ends up anyways). Is there another file similar to resolv.conf that I need to edit? Thanks for any help. Neill _________________________________________________________ DO YOU YAHOO!?
