https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D268584 --- Comment #2 from Slawomir Wojciech Wojtczak <vermaden@interia.pl> --- I have modified the ~/profiles.ini with '.tor-browser/' prefix for 'Path' s= o at least Tor Browser profile is not in the ${HOME} directory directly: % cat profiles.ini=20 [Profile0] Name=3Ddefault IsRelative=3D1 Path=3D.tor-browser/f5o2xdjb.default Default=3D1 [General] StartWithLastProfile=3D1 Version=3D2 ... but that does not solves the 'problem' of 'unwanted' ~/profiles.ini fil= e. IMHO it would be great to modify Tor Browser installation/default configura= tion to at least use ~/.profiles.ini or ~/.tor-browser-profiles.ini instead. If course the 'preffered' way would be to be compliant with XDG standarts a= nd use ~/.config/tor-browser but ~/.profiles.ini or ~/.tor-browser-profiles.ini and profiles in ~/.tor-browser by default would be a good start.
