Gentlemen! Why is it, that in order to build the Java-plugin for 
firefox-49 per the procedure officially documented here:

    https://www.freebsd.org/doc/handbook/desktop-browsers.html

one must download and compile firefox-45 (ESR)? Is this a known bug 
awaiting a fix, or is it considered normal?
