BootMgr is installed and works to boot Win98. The FreeBSD partition seems to get formated ok. But when the "/bin" files are copied: "Write failure on transfer!" Motherboard: ASUS A7V Win95-98 Promise Ultra100 IDE controller PDC20265 Primary master: Maxor 5T030H3 (1024/255/63 -- LBA 30735MB) Primary slave: None Secondary master: ATAPI CDROM Secondary slave: Samsung WA32162A (523/128/63 --LBA 2160MB) Eliminating the seven driver conflicts made no difference. (The motherboard has no ISA slots, is this necessary?) Correcting the disk geometry, to agree with tools/pfdisk.exe made no difference. Installing to the secondary disk made no difference. Should I replace my disk drive with a frog? To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
