Hi guys; fwiw; steve gerakines sent me a copy of rzsz that worked like an absolute champ. it not only works, it shows the fxfer stats and doesnt hang the remote end, either he said it is a real old, unbroken redistributable copy. i wonder why it worked for me and nothing else did, but all the other versions i recieved worked for every one else. how incredibly strange. oh, well. next: malloc frenzy! ******************************************************************************* John Utz spaz@stein.u.washington.edu idiocy is the impulse function in the convolution of life
