And I didn't care for the vendor branches since I was and still am interested (and working on) getting lint up to date with cool features and what not. What strikes me the worst of all is the presumptions you make when you have NO clue what kind of research I have done with regard to this, who I have talked this over with and what time pressure I was on to work this out back then. We are not all blessed to work full-time on FreeBSD. If I sound pissed, you are correct, I am, and no I will not take this private, since I have no respect for the way you have been treating me as a person, my judgement and reasons in public. >If you object to this commit, I am willing to back it out prejudice. That wouldn't be the first time you think you can assume to be lord and master over FreeBSD. Do it, back it out and I will without a second thought hand in my privileges to the FreeBSD project and go about my own business, since obviously my judgement seems to not be of the kind which is wanted and I'll be damned if I let myself be disrespected like that. You raise this point 3 (three!) months after the deed. Which in itself is not bad, but the way in which saddens me to my very heart and soul, since you lacked to contact me private before all this. -- Jeroen Ruigrok van der Werven/Asmodai asmodai@[wxs.nl|freebsd.org|xmach.org] Documentation nutter/C-rated Coder, finger asmodai@ninth-circle.dnsalias.net http://www.freebsd.org/doc/en_US.ISO8859-1/books/developers-handbook/ In a world that is chaotic, time is an island of order...
