I've read that, but that's just words on a web page.  Please explain
exactly what OpenSSH-portable has that "regular" OpenSSH doesn't, and
that we need badly enough to justify the pain of switching to
-portable.

BTW, NetBSD doesn't use OpenSSH-portable either.
