The NON-statistics gathering parts have probably suffered from bitrot since they haven't been the default for so long. If splhigh() is necessary in malloc(), then splimp() is a bug in MALLOC()... >2) Has anyone else noticed the mixing of FREE/free on cn_pnbuf > elements of nameidata structures? Doesn't this seem broken, There are many other cases where they are mixed. This should not be a problem, since the two versions are supposed to be equivalent. The macro versions are supposed to be faster. Bruce
