If you want something else for > breakfast, get up later. Even if your card is not connected directly to the main socket you may still need a line adapter. Also, if you find you still have problems after using a line adapter connected through your other adapter you might want to try connecting the card and line adapter straight to the main socket as a diagnostic elimination.
