When ever I try to use database passwd in the slapd.conf, I get a message "Unrecognized database type (passwd)". Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong, or give me a sample file for using the system passwd file. I know this could be a security problem, but I have over 10,000 accounts on this system, and I want to run an LDAP server on this system so I can authenticate users for proxy running on another system.
