The Caddy docs (https://caddyserver.com/docs/command-line#caddy-run) appear to fairly stro= ngly recommend the latter command instead: "Use of (the caddy start) command is discouraged with system services or on Windows." caddy run "Runs Caddy and blocks indefinitely; i.e. "daemon" mode."
