There are two distinct patterns, one of 7 names and the other of 13 or 14; then a couple don't fit. One place I worked (in the movie business) started naming their systems for muppets, then for various others (larry, curly, moe, shemp) and so on. All but a few were named for either toon or live (or muppet) characters. Mine are all seabirds, except for the one that's remoted at an ISP location, which has the rather unimaginitive names of www.pelican.com and ftp.pelican.com (and a couple of virtual hosts, etc.) -- Pete
