hi. i'm using: ---- FreeBSD gregtx 6.1-STABLE FreeBSD 6.1-STABLE #2: Tue Oct 31 09:50:20 PST 2006 minshall@gregtx:/usr/src/sys/i386/compile/GENERIC i386 ---- (from a year or so ago), and loaded xulrunner from its ports. it fails (limps along). a simple test case is "xulrunner --register-user", which has errors invoking expr(1). i just pulled down the latest version of the port. i notice a fair number of compiler warnings during the build process. (but, i don't know if this happens on a linux system as well, as i don't run linux, so i don't know if those warnings are to be expected.) finally, i did "sudo make install" on what was built from the current port, which failed: ---- gmake[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/home/minshall/src/import/xulrunner/freebsd-po rt/xulrunner/work/mozilla/embedding/browser/gtk' sed: /usr/home/minshall/src/import/xulrunner/freebsd-port/xulrunner/work/fake/b in/xulrunner: No such file or directory *** Error code 1 Stop in /usr/home/minshall/src/import/xulrunner/freebsd-port/xulrunner. ---- any thoughts? is anyone porting 1.8.1.3 (which sadly doesn't have a source tar file on mozdev.org)? Greg Minshall
