Interface epair (4) will probably not work correctly if one endpoint is in FIB different then another endpoint, at least it has neither been tested nor proven to work passing the traffic between FIBs, since its = main purpose is interconnecting different VNETs. Perhaps adding the requested feature is feasible, but I am not the one to judge here. If your use case requires creating connections between different FIBs, maybe you can use if_bridge (4) to bind them.
