Interestingly I could successfully build towncrier and
py-sphinxcontrib-towncrier without any problems, after I updated the latter=
 to
0.3.2a0.

So maybe that is a good workaround? I have no idea how you can rollback a p=
ort
version while "pkg upgrade" keeps on working.
