BTW yes, I have tried reinstalling from ports, packages, re-downloading the package, you name it. I figure it must be a configuration error somehow. Though my .fvwmrc is more or less out of the box. Here is a bit of output from top to demonstrate the seriousness of the problem: load averages: 1.30, 1.18, 1.04 00:04:03 33 processes: 4 running, 29 sleeping Cpu states: 28.8% user, 3.9% nice, 66.9% system, 0.4% interrupt, 0.0% idle Mem: 22M Active, 2168K Inact, 4780K Wired, 404K Cache, 3374K Buf, 1340K Free Swap: 76M Total, 7364K Used, 69M Free, 10% Inuse PID USERNAME PRI NICE SIZE RES STATE TIME WCPU CPU COMMAND 17191 ben 101 20 356K 1196K RUN 18:15 80.26% 80.26% fvwm 17190 ben 89 0 2032K 3368K RUN 0:06 16.71% 16.71% color_xterm 16971 root 2 0 3104K 3928K select 0:07 1.49% 1.49% XF86_S3V 17192 ben 18 0 644K 1048K pause 0:00 0.00% 0.00% tcsh 118 root 18 0 276K 124K pause 0:02 0.00% 0.00% cron Ben The views expressed above are not those of the Worker's Compensation Board of Queensland, Australia.
