I am using 4.10 Release. The SCSI subsystem is compiled into the kernel. dmesg shows a umass device: umass0: IOMEGA CDRW64892EXT3-B, rev 2.00/0.02, addr 2 However, when I run xcdroast the drive is not recognized as a writer, but is as a reader. The "Scanning for devices" takes forever. Any clues?
