For those (Amancio) who asked about the chipset here's the info I could get from the diagnostic program: Tuner: Philips FI1236 NTSC M/N Decoder: Bt829 This board can decode NTSC, PAL/M (Brasil's TV system, yeah !!!) and PAL/N. It can receive TV and cable broadcasts, composite video and S-Video. Now the questions: how "compatible" is Bt829 with Bt848 ??? :) Also, how important is the glue logic to the operation of the system as a whole ?
