Hi,

We finally received our ATI All-In-Wonder, a combo of 3D Expression
(Rage II) and ATI TV in just one slot. For those (Amancio) who asked
about the chipset here's the info I could get from the diagnostic program:

  Tuner: Philips FI1236 NTSC M/N
  Decoder: Bt829

This board can decode NTSC, PAL/M (Brasil's TV system, yeah !!!)
and PAL/N. It can receive TV and cable broadcasts, composite video
and S-Video.

Now the questions: how "compatible" is Bt829 with Bt848 ??? :)

Also, how important is the glue logic to the operation of the
system as a whole ?
