I have an IBM 56k PCMCIA modem that I'm trying to get working in FreeBSD. When I plug the device in it says: pccardd[53] Card "IBM"("56K PC Card Modem") [(null)] [(null)] matched "IBM" ("56K PC Card Modem") [(null)] [(null)] /kernel: sio4 at port 0x3e8-0x3ef irq3 slot 0 on pccard0 /kernel: sio4: type 16550A pccardd[53]: sio4: IBM (56K PC Card Modem) inserted. I have PPP set to use /dev/cuaa2, but when I run "ppp -ddial papchap" it says: Working in ddial mode Using interface: tun0 ppp[289]: tun0: Warning: deflink: /dev/cuaa2: Bad file descriptor Any ideas as to how I can get this working? _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
