So is 1) there some info you can't find at all or 2) all the info can be found, but not in the same place on the same website if (2), then unless this shows up on the Freebsd main website, there are always going to be multiple efforts. I can only speak for freebsd-laptop.grot.org which I built trying to replicate the very useful linux-laptop.net site, but suggestions are welcome.
