We might still be waiting for some ports-related breakage to be fixed
(the problem is that we don't have a ports/INDEX-5 file in the
repository...murray reported some release-related problems to kris
earlier, which kris was trying to fix).

But as far as src/ is concerned, yes, this seems like a reasonable
timestamp.  And like you said, aborting and restarting is possible if
this becomes necessary.

PS.  Out of curiosity, how long does it take to run a release on your 
ia64 box?
