That, sir, is a lie. There was no additional damage introduced. The fonts
did not conform to koi8-r before Maxim's commit, and they remained 
non-conforming after it.

I have nothing against koi8-r compatibility added in correct way, your way
does NOT improve on that compatibility, while damaging compatibility with a
related standard. You know this, of course, but so should others.
