	This would certainly be what I was looking for.  I will go back
and look at this closer.

	Ok, I must be just out to lunch.  I must have missed a make clean
in one of my tests.  

	This does at least confirm that if GNU_CONFIGURE is set to yes
then PREFIX should fine.

	Sorry for the noise, at least I learned something today.
