I tried the nvidia-driver from nvidia.netexplorer.org and it works "better" with it. The nvidia-logo shows up, gets distorted after a few seconds and hangs. After this I have to reboot, cause its possible to switch to console but the screen keeps dark (no text). I tried this driver cause linux needed it tobring up X (and it did).
