The exact idea that i have and started is this. 1.Implement system call tracing with ptrace system call. I have studied the relevant source code and added a flag that will be tested during the sytem call entry. This is same as in linux ptrace. 2.To compile the Linux kernel(C code) in FreeBSD and then UML patch onto it. Will this be enough, What might be the possible problems in compiling Linux kernel,if any since it is plain C code. Please reply urgently.
