Since it is commonly used service, I think it is acceptable. * Any objections/suggestions? None from me, but I recommend you also add a pkg/REQ that tests the existence of the UID and urges the user to upgrade their master.passwd (can even print out a sample line that can be cut and pasted) so people won't bombard us with "why the hell is my install bombing?!?" type of questions (see "world, make").
