Kevin Oberman, Network Engineer, Retired I don't think I have yet built hal and dbus on 10-prerelease or 11-HEAD. Subversion was the first big thing, so I would not have to use the NetBSD-current amd64 USB-stick installation to update FreeBSD src, doc and ports trees. I have a FreeBSD 10-prerelease i386 USB 3.0 stick installation, was wondering if I might do better with 11-HEAD. USB-stick installation is useful for portability among more than one computer, and to have utilities like gdisk and subversion, and run fsck when needed on hard-drive installation. Also, I will want to build wine. I also am trying to decide which is stabler between 10-prerelease and 11-HEAD. Tom
