Any chance to make this an official `port' so we could ship it on the
CD?

Although i've got a ham call [DL8DTL, ex Y43TL], i'm almost inactive
now, and definately don't ever intend to go to packet radio.  However,
i would very much like to see support for this in FreeBSD.
