Soren committed the wrong patch to the 2.2 syscons.c (enabled the 
almost-but-not-quite-ready splashscreen stuff).  I caught it and he backed
it out almost immediately, but there was a small window (a couple of
hours) in which a few of us would have got a bogus update.
