Another attempt at an open standard for packaging, this time to record dependencies and what to run on which OS. http://www.microsoft.com/standards/osd/osdintro.htm The actual spec is available as a link of the above URL, and at http://www.w3.org/TR/NOTE-OSD.html It looks like it might be useful, and along with Sun's META=INF specification, it cover a large part of what we need in the packaing system.
