You may need to do some fine tuning in the /etc/X11/XF86Config file too. For instance I had a problem with my mouse so I changed it from "PS2" to "auto" and everything worked out hunky-dory. It's also an easy way to edit your resolutions and default color depth. Viel Glück! Today I have installed XFree-4 via the Ports Collection. After Configuring and Compiling the Port I realized that TCL was not installed on my System and therefore XF86Setup was not built. Is there a way to build XF86Setup without reinstalling the port? It took me the better part of three hours to compile it and I'd hate to do it all over again.
