I'll leave that up to John, I have no pref either way. It's come up on the list often enough that I thought it deserves some more attention though. Heck, _I_ asked for a umask option ages ago, and I didn't even know John added it till someone mentioned it on the list. Seeing it in the example supfile would have done it for me.
