I just had a week's worth of standing on my head with this problem. I
use LANCAST 21140 cards from Dell and found that they are inordinately
picky as to the 10BaseT cables you use. All das blinkenlites verk,
including tx and rx, but if you do netstat -i 1 you see Opkt errors.
Check the verdammnt cables.
