They are 1) doing fresh install (no problem) 2) upgrading (sysinstall should DTRT, WRT fstab, /dev entries, kernel, and mount command) 3) not using the CD, but instead tracking 2.2-STABLE, in which case the read the mailing list, or get bitten by stuff now and then. /Mikael To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-stable" in the body of the message
