Given that both you and I > failed, well, I'm hesitant to ask it, but is dd broken? Nope! I used dd if=kern.flp of=/dev/rfdo and it required 48 sec and transfered data at 30KB/sec. I could then boot from that floppy. The example in the cdrom /floppies suggest /dev/rfdo or /dev/floppy and in my case the /dev/rfd0 booted. Kent > > You tried from 3.1-release.
