OK, so it says "make world OR upgrade kit", but you did > try to install an upgrade kit at least, right? This is a clean 4.0 system, installed as 4.0-release just last week, and supped to -stable. It's not an upgrade from 3.x. Don't tell me we need a 4.0-release to 4.0-stable upgrade kit???
