Hi all. I would like to know what happened to the 'pnp' command that I used in FBSD 3.X when booting with '-c'. The pnp(4) man page says to include: controller pnp0 and documents the command, but trying to build a kernel with this does not work. config <kernelname> tells me that the "controller" keyword is deprecated, and to use the device keyword instead. Using this tells me the 'pnp' device does not exist. Hum. What going on here... I need this to configure my modem! Thanks for any hint... a.
