I am testing MySQL version 5.7.40 with percona57-pam-for-mysql-5.7.40.43 and get an error when I try to load the module from inside mysql.=20 root@localhost [(none)]> INSTALL PLUGIN auth_pam SONAME 'auth_pam.so'; ERROR 2013 (HY000): Lost connection to MySQL server during query When I tail the log file when running the command above I get this this bel= ow: -------- Version: '5.7.40-log' socket: '/tmp/mysql.sock' port: 3306 Source distribution 19:10:54 UTC - mysqld got signal 11 ; This could be because you hit a bug. It is also possible that this binary or one of the libraries it was linked against is corrupt, improperly built, or misconfigured. This error can also be caused by malfunctioning hardware. I tried to use the pam version percona-pam-for-mysql-5.7.39.42 and get the = same errors. This is the version that is in the ports tree.
