That makes a lot more sense.  I'd leave a makefile in release that
will automatically redirect it to release/freebsd.  There's also a lot
less stuff to move around doing it that way.  I also think there are
fewer paths to fix.  I count only 2 in the whole of
src/release/Makefile.
