I know the address of my firewall, I know the port on which it listens (80), but nowhere can I give the install program the address of the firewall. The handbook (section http://www.freebsd.org/handbook/handbook17.html, last part) says: Note: Active and passive modes are not the same as a `proxy' connection, where a proxy ftp server is listening on a different port! In such instances, you should specify the URL as something like: ftp://foo.bar.com:1234/pub/FreeBSD But it doesnt work. (I replace foo.bar.com with ftp.freebsd.org - I also tried replacing it with my firewall's address, just in case). Can you help? Thank you.
