I'm not sure I understand your question. Freeamp can be started from the command line by typing "freeamp". All non-broken ports will install their executables to either /usr/X11R6/bin or /usr/local/bin by default. These are already in your path. Under KDE, you can launch an application by typing ALT+F2, then typing the command in the box. Or you could start Konsole and type the command there.
