We use a cf -> ide  adapter from adtron.  Its not the cheapest out there,
but it fits in 3 1/2 drive bay, and offers access to the card from outside the
computer.  By having the cf accessible from outside the computer, a
corrupted system can be fixed via fedex quite cheaply, with out someone
having to tear into the box with a screw driver.
