We look slightly less like an alpha-release Tk program now. - Distfile browser with a single set of status for all distfiles, rather than several list windows recomputed every time. - Better caching of distfile status, with a 'Rescan' option. - The "read DESCR" function now has a button of it's own ('?') rather than being summoned on double-click of the port title. - "delete stale distfiles" function (disabled by default). This version assumes that the pathnames in the files/md5 file are relative to /usr/ports/distfiles, which will not normally be the case unless you've applied Satoshi's recent patch, hence the 'delete' function being disabled. (Otherwise, any distfiles in a subdirectory would be blown away). I plan to test that patch just as soon as I can, or Satoshi can at an appropriate time where it won't cause grief for the million or so other ports users out there 8) -- ]] Mike Smith, Software Engineer msmith@gsoft.com.au [[ ]] Genesis Software genesis@gsoft.com.au [[ ]] High-speed data acquisition and (GSM mobile) 0411-222-496 [[ ]] realtime instrument control.
