We had a 40GB rackmount RAID, DPT UW controller, max memory (all
hardware from DPT). Ran it for a couple of weeks in RAID 5.

who eventually threw up their hands and said "send it back, we
can't fix it".

Also speed tests in RAID 0 showed that DPT was FAR slower than running
3 SCSI controllers with ccd.

This was about a year ago, YMMV.
