But somehow when i do uname -a i get: [dark@Shell]:~$ uname -a FreeBSD Shell.Q8unix.com 4.1-RC FreeBSD 4.1-RC #0: Fri Jul 14 18:02:15 PDT 2000 dark@Shell.Q8unix.com:/usr/src/sys/compile/SHELL i386 Few weeks ago i did the same thing on my machine and got FreeBSD 4.0-STABLE.
